In winter I saw a little girl in a flimsy school uniform running to school. She was cold and running to get to the warmth of the school. Tears came and I prayed for her. I had never before prayed for anyone like that. I shall be surprised if I don’t meet her in heaven. Perhaps she and I will talk about when I prayed for her. I wonder how many prayed for me before I was saved. I hope that when I get to Heaven I can meet and thank them. By the way, our prayers are stored Heaven. Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
How many do you pray for? How many do I? What happened to me was that God helped me to stop hating others and start loving them. I confess that too often I do not accept his help. Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Has God begun to decrease your hatred for others and increase your love for them? |
